Encaustic Works
Since my discovery of Jasper Johns in my teenage years, I have been enamored with the medium of wax and its use in mixed media. Many of my encaustic works are inspired by Numbers in Color (1958–1959) which growing up in Buffalo, NY I had the chance to study many times in person at Buffalo AKG Art Museum (formerly the Albright-Knox Art Gallery).
